The CoCP is a network of 1,350+ cleft professionals spanning more than 100 countries. First launched to support learning between conferences, the CoCP has evolved into a thriving online network focused on advancing Comprehensive Cleft Care in low-resource settings.

Objectives of network
- Champion Low and Middle- Income Country (LMIC) rooted Comprehensive Cleft Care (CCC) learning and leadership.
- Facilitate ‘north-south’, ‘south-south’ and ‘inter-NGO’ collaboration among multidisciplinary cleft professionals.
- Amplify CCC tools, practical initiatives, and LMIC cleft research.
Examples of progress made or particular achievements
- Interactive webinars on Comprehensive Cleft Care, with a focus on LMICs, featuring diverse global and regional expertise, live Q&A, Spanish interpretation, and flexible access to recordings.
- The Solutions 4 Comprehensive Cleft Care (S4CCC) Conference is the CoCP’s bi-annual virtual conference, uniting multidisciplinary cleft professionals to co-create practical solutions for challenges in low-resource settings. The 2025 conference, Inclusive Approaches, Lasting Change, brought together 45 experts from 21 countries to lead four dynamic roundtables focused on actionable, community-driven cleft care.
- The CoCP Award, established in 2022, is presented at each Cleft Congress by a multidisciplinary panel of judges. The award recognizes research with the potential to significantly advance Comprehensive Cleft Care in LMIC contexts.
- Circle, the CoCP’s digital hub and community platform, supports knowledge exchange and connection among cleft professionals worldwide. The platform offers a 24/7 space for members to share their experiences, build relationships with other cleft professionals, mentor, and innovate in Comprehensive Cleft Care.

- Join the CoCP! Members have access to curated resources, including journal articles, videos, and tools; connect with global cleft professionals across disciplines; and engage in online events that foster ongoing learning and collaboration.
- Stay informed about upcoming Solutions4CCC conferences for opportunities to lead or participate as a Solutions Group (SG) member. Until the next Solutions4CCC conference scheduled for March 2027, we encourage you to engage and draw upon the practical insights from the 2025 guideline series.
